Who should use Aeterna.me?

Simple answer — EVERYONE! Convinced? No need to read below, go to aeterna.me and tell your story! :)

For everyone else:

Let’s get real. You will die. I will die, everyone will. As matter of fact, a lot of people are already dead. I know it may sound grim and not a way you should promote a web project. But, the Death makes us value and celebrate life. That why I created aeterna.me. I believe that we live as long as a memory of us lives in the minds of other people.

You may prolong your life and live until 100–140 years. But ask your self…Do you know much about your great-grandparents? How cool would it be if you could open up some resource and find out what they(or your relatives) wrote about themself? Well, make your great-grandchildren smile and post story of your life. It should not be anything grandiose. Just tell them that you like and don’t like, what is your usual day is like. You may also tell them about your parents and grandparents. It is all about celebrating the moments in life you get.

What about elderly people who live around you? There are a dozen of elderly near you who live alone. Elderly who are forgotten by their families and their spouses already passed away. Don’t believe me? Say Hi to the next old person you see outside. Just start speaking with them. Oh! I bet they will be delighted to tell you all about them selfs.

Those stories are priceless. Those stories should not be forgotten. Save them!

Maybe, just maybe, your story will help someone else in their life.

You could add stories, life snippets, and eulogies. Set them to be published whenever you want. The platform will never display anything before the publish date. It is up to you to add a name or stay anonymous.

What makes Aeterna.me different?

Facebook will keep your data as long it makes money for them. It will join Google+, Myspace and others eventually. Platforms with THE NOW becoming more and more popular.

The whole idea of aeterna.me is to collect life stories and make sure they will be seen in the feature. It is a long and hard journey, such as life itself.

I won’t delete a single story. Who am I to judge it? Unless you decide to post something that breaks a law, your story will stay. The maximum that I will allow myself to do — add a dozen years to the publish date. But, you really should post something hateful to deserve that. I also will never read a single unpublished story. I am working on a way to encrypt it and hide it even from my eyes.
